Both the Government and Parliament of Monaco support the work by AMADE towards a better recognition of children's rights. A tripartite working group was set up in the fall of 2003 to explore the ways to achieve the realisation of the project and prepare for the international campaign by AMADE and the Principality of Monaco.


Preliminary meeting: 17 November 2003, National Council

A preliminary meeting was held on 17 November 2003 in the presence of:

  • Mrs. Brigitte BOCCONE-PAGES, President of the Education and Youth Committee, Member of Parliament, National Council
  • Mr. Jean-Charles GARDETTO, President of the International Relations Committee, Member of Parliament, National Council
  • Mrs. Anne-Marie ANCIAN, Secretary, International Relations Department, Principality of Monaco
  • Mr. Jacques DANOIS, Vice-President of AMADE
  • Mr. Claude GIORDAN, Secretary General, International Relations Department, Principality of Monaco
  • Mr. Pascal GRANERO, Administrator, International Relations Department, Principality of Monaco
  • Mr. Gilles IVALDI, Executive Secretary for the AMADE programme "Crimes against the child, crimes against humanity"
  • Ms. Céline DERI, Draftswoman, National Council
