Outline
In any other context, this refreshingly constructed children's
animation would be an excellent tale of four friends battling between
good and evil on their journey to freedom. However, this stop-motion
"junkmation" should be placed within the context of its origin, Zimbabwe.
|
|
The five heroes escape from the oppression of the Evil Emperor and go
in search of the Sky Kingdom. On the way, triumphing over both
emotional and physical barriers to freedom including: the jungle of
confusion, the valley of complacency, the desert of desolation, and the
forest of fear and doubt. Used to sophisticated high-tech animation,
audiences will be charmed by this animation rich with music, textures,
and images that weave old and new African-style legends to great effect.
