During the course of the last day, the Princess visited the Singkama
Township and was confronted with the harsh reality of poverty, where
about 1500 people live crammed together in fragile corrugated iron
homes. To mark the end of the Princess’ humanitarian visit, a symposium
was held, « Crimes against Children, Crimes against Humanity » was
held, during which HRH The Princess of Hanover made a speech about the importance of recognising the rights of children.
