Two years after the Burundi, "Victoires 24" decided to dedicate to the Cambodian children the concert held on 6 April 2008 in the Cathédrale Saint-Louis des Invalides, in Paris.
Many children's friends gathered on this occasion to attend the performance given by the "Sagittarius" Ensemble and the "Abbaye aux Dames" Vocal Ensemble, under the direction of Michel Laplénie, under the theme "Biblical heroines and Warlords", as well as by the "Chef de Bataillon Pierre Segrétain" Promotion composed by officer cadets from the Saint-Cyr Military Special School.
AMADE addresses its special thanks to Father Kim En Joong, who generously offered one of his paintings as a special prize for the lottery organized during the concert.

Fundraising for the Cambodian children
The funds raised on the occasion of this concert - amount of 33.000 Euros - will be used to bring assistance to the children of Phnom Penh, whose mothers are incarcerated, being unable to pay back the debts they contracted to provide for themselves and their children. Living within transferred communities, without any professional opportunity, these mothers have no other choice but to take their children to live with them, in jail, simply because they can not entrust them to somebody else's care.
