| THE PRESIDENT OF AMADE MONDIALE VISITS THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

As a part of Her personal fight to promote the rights of children worldwide, Her Royal Highness The Princess of Hanover has visited Dubai, United Arab Emirates on the 24th and 25th of November 2009.
Beyond the financial issues that concern this major place of Middle-East, the Princess of Hanover met several influential personalities from the UAE in order to raise awareness of the importance of children's situation.

First of all, AMADE’s President met with H.R.H. Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein , wife of His Higness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai.
Princess Haya’s work and interests focus on humanitarian issues and human development concentrated primarily on the areas of health, education, youth and sports. Princess Haya founded Tkiyet Um Ali, the first Arab NGO dedicated to overcoming hunger, in Her native Jordan and now chairs Dubai’s International Humanitarian City. She is a founding member of former Secretary-General Kofi Annan’s Global Humanitarian Forum based in Geneva and was the first Arab woman to serve as an ambassador for the World Food Programme.
Their Royal Highnesses took the opportunity to share Their experiences about various important issues, notably Their work towards helping the less privileged inhabitants of the world.

H.R.H The Princess of Hanover has also attended a lunch organized by Dubai’s Young President’s Organization’s (YPO), whose main objective is to provide education and networking opportunities that promote the exchange of ideas and experiences among young business leaders.
Within the same spirit of exchanges and sharings, H.R.H The Princess of Hanover will also attend a lunch organized by the Rotary Club of Dubai, gathering around Her some of the most important financial figures from across the UAE.
These two gatherings gave AMADE’s President the opportunity to address the most influential members of the Arab world to share Her thoughts and concerns about children around the world.
