Remise du don entre S.E.M. Jean-Claude Michel et Daniel Boeri

08/04/2014 - The art gallery « L’Entrepôt » raised 30.000 € for AMADE Mondiale to support the restoration of the Tiglawigan elementary school partially destroyed on past 8 November by Super Typhoon Haiyan.

Right after the natural disaster that devastated the Philippines, the art gallery "l’Entrepôt" joined forces with AMADE to help the children victims through the organization of two specific events.

This operation raised a total amount of 30.000 €, officially donated on Monday 7 April to the Vice-President of AMADE Mondiale, H.E.Mr.Jean-Claude MICHEL, from Mr. Daniel BOERI, founder of the art gallery.

This generous contribution adds to the efforts of the Prince's Government, the Monaco Red Cross, the NGO "les Amis du Liban", and the Consul of Philippines in Monaco - funds which will be entirely used by AMADE Mondiale within the reconstruction program supported in the Philippines in partnership with the Virlanie Foundation.

The main purpose of the program will be to rehabilitate the Tiglawigan elementary school, severely damaged by the typhoon, resulting its 800 pupils to be out-of-school since November.

The last assessment of the catastrophe count several thousands of deaths, most of them being children. Over 14 million people have been directly affected by the disaster.
