HOSPICE "NO END TO CARING"
THERE IS NO LIMIT WHEN YOU TAKE CARE OF CHILDREN...

AMADE supports the daily fight of the Hospice Association of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, which purpose is to assist and to comfort young children suffering from AIDS.

Site de l'Hospice Witwatersrand
AMADE Mondiale is happy to support the Hospice Association of the Witwatersrand, working in Soweto area, Johannesburg, to the help of AIDS victims.
This south-african NGO aims to provide appropriate cares to deprived people and young children infected by AIDS. The palliative care does not consist in life-prolonging treatments, but essentially focuses on emotional distress. To comfort the child, to share his pain, to bring him medical care while coming along with him to the inevitable, is the hard task of the Hospice No end to caring.
Soweto Soweto
The Association manages many departments for its patients, children and adults, provides training lessons to palliative care, as well as school education for the children of the ill patients.

The building of the new hospice has been achieved in the beginning of 2007. The center was officially opened on 16th april; it contains a children unit and a special unit for the children of deceased patients or patients with end-stage diseases.
