We believe the fundamental rights of the child as defined in the United
Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child should be considered
paramount in all areas of contemporary society, in order to ensure
children's welfare and their ability to grow into adults who will be
fully responsible to their community.
|
| |
|
In compliance with these core values and beliefs, AMADE strives to: |
|
|
• Raise public awareness of the specific difficulties encountered by millions if children in many countries of the world.
• Inform and push forward child-related issues in the press and public opinion.
• Give rise,
promote, coordinate and support all initiatives in favour of the most
vulnerable children, particularly in developing countries
•
Encourage and foster research in the area of the rights of the child, and
contribute to the dissemination of the most important findings relevant
to that particular domain.
• Call for legal action against the individuals responsible for violating children's rights.
