WHO ARE WE?

AMADE
Funded in 1963 in accordance with the wish of the Princess Grace of Monaco, the World Association of Children's Friends (Association Mondiale des Amis de l'Enfance - AMADE strives to contribute to the wellness of the most vulnerable children in this world.

Because tomorrow's responsible and self-sufficient adults can only appear from today's developing children.

Our missions

AMADE is destinated to act without distinction of gender, race, religion, language, culture, social background or political opinion.

In compliance with these core beliefs, AMADE dedicates its action to the following objectives:
  • To contribute to bring access to education and healthcare for every child worldwide.
  • To promote the defense of the children's essential rights.
  • To raise public awareness of the place of the child in our society.

Our values

Through its activities, AMADE seeks above all to ensure the self-sufficiency of the communities involved and the permanence of the results.

More than just beneficiaries, the families concerned by our actions are essential protagonists of their own development: most of time, they are the very self-starters of the program.

This is the reason why we give priority to ground partnerships established with sustainable associations with full awareness of the needs of the communities - which they are frequently an expression of.

Proximity, listening and sharing are the keywords of our action.
