Promote academic engagement and prevent delinquancy

Every year in France, over 80 000 young people drop out of the school system with no employment, training, or diploma. Without any perspective or guidance, they are more likely to fall into delinquancy.

A partner of AMADE for almost 10 years, ACAY France initiated the Second Chance program in Marseille with a double aim : preventing academic disengagement through the guidance of students with difficulties and preventing repeat offense through guidance of incarcerated minors in and out of jail.

AMADE is happy to announce the puirsuit of this partnership for the school year 2022-2023. Through this project, ACAY France will be accompanying SEGPA students at risk of academic disengagement from the Saint-Vincent de Paul middle school in Marseille by providing them with psychosocial support and help to find an engaging career path.
